Fieldwork Preparation

This course is designed to deliver concepts knowledge and theory that will provide preparation for students entering field placements. It focuses on building a student's practical knowledge and skills in the field of social service work. Experiential learning opportunities, small group discussions, in-class demonstrations and individual exercises are designed to enhance student's ability to successfully obtain a field placement. The course content will examine various field placement issues that consider the diversity and uniqueness of the populations we serve.
