Field Practicum 3 Specialized - Part 1
Description
This course provides the third year student with the opportunity to acquire experience working directly with emotionally/behaviourally/psychologically troubled young people in an area of treatment service that is of particular interest to him/her. Some of the possibilities include: Day Treatment Programs, Psychiatric/Crisis Units in Hospitals, Family Support Worker Programs, Residential Treatment Programs, School Based, and Various Community Based Programs.
The student will successfully demonstrate the skills and learning outcomes as outlined in the C.Y.C. Programs’ Field Placement Evaluation Manual.
