Environmental Biotechnology

Description

Students will investigate current technical, cultural, ethical, and traditional aspects of environmental biotechnology through lectures and labs. Lecture topics include plant, animal, microbial and aquatic biotechnology, bioremediation, and regulations and ethics in environmental biotechnology. Labs are used to enhance understanding by physically engaging students with the concepts presented during lecture.
