Empowerment Oriented Case Management
Description
This course provides students with the skills required to promote the effective integration of disadvantaged people into the mainstream of community life using an empowerment approach. Students learn about empowerment-oriented case management practice, risks of not practicing according to the empowerment model, key empowerment philosophies, their applications to practice, and legal and ethical issues that have a direct impact on how case management is practiced.
