Description
Students are introduced to the principles that are essential to an understanding of contemporary economic issues. Emphasis is placed on the use of economic theory to analyze economic developments accurately and objectively. Students examine both micro and macroeconomic issues, the economic problems that society faces, and the policy alternatives that governments may use to deal with these problems. The impact of economics on students' civic, working and personal lives is explored.
