Diplomacy
Description
Students examine the origins of diplomacy in relation to the modern nation-state. Students learn the â??nuts and boltsâ? of diplomacy, as well as obstacles to successful diplomatic missions. Topics include preventing violent conflict; the role of non-state citizen diplomacy; and the role of communications technology and social media as they impact contemporary diplomatic practices.
