Data Warehousing and Predictive Analysis

Data warehousing techniques allow organizations to extract data from disparate data sources and transform it into actionable information. Modern data warehousing is an important foundation for business intelligence (BI). By building on the previous database and programming courses, this course covers basic data warehousing and data mining concepts and tools. Students will gain hands-on experience by using cloud-based and on-premises data warehousing tools: blobs, SQL data warehouse and data lakes. A mix of machine learning libraries and cloud supported languages will be used for data exploration and applying machine learning algorithms on a group of open-source datasets.
