Crisis Communications

In this course, students will learn the theories relevant to crisis management and explore what is involved in developing crisis communications plans for companies, organizations and individuals. Students will focus on how to manage relationships with internal and external publics before, during and after a crisis, and how to best protect the reputation of the organization at all stages of a crisis. Students will analyze and identify possible crises which may occur and will develop crisis communications plans to address these scenarios.
