Description

College English is George Brown College's required course in communication and a prerequisite for advanced COMM courses. The focus is on learning to communicate clearly and strategically, and to analyze information critically. Students will learn and apply critical thinking and research skills to the communication process in order tocreate clear, logical, audience-appropriate, and purposeful works. Students will also learn and implement self-editing and revision techniques throughout the semester. This course offers students the opportunity to engage with a range of meaningful topics and issues that are reflective of our diverse student body and community.
