Applying Mobilities Techniques
Description
This course provides theory and practice of basic body mechanics, safe transferring, lifting techniques, feeding techniques and how to provide hygiene. Home safety and fall prevention as well as supportive equipment and environmental adaptations are also introduced. Students will have the opportunity to practise and demonstrate skills in a lab environment. The standards of restorative care will also be explored.
