Ace Core Mathematics

Description

This course is designed to give learners a grounding in varied aspects of mathematics, including numeric and algebraic operations; measurement and geometry; collecting, displaying and analyzing data; mathematical relationships; statistics and probability; simple and compound interest; and everyday financing. Core Mathematics is a prerequisite for registering in other ACE mathematics courses and is recommended as preparation for Physics.

PREREQUISITE: Reading score minimum 250

OSSD EQUIVALENT: Mathematics for Work and Everyday Life, Grade 12, Workplace Preparation, MEL4E

COURSE LENGTH: 120 hours. Learners have a maximum of 20 weeks to complete the course but may complete more quickly if they are able to do so.
