Description
In this course emphasis is placed on meeting the operating and financial reporting needs of a medium-sized business that requires customer and vendor management. Students will design, configure, and operate a system using a mid-market accounting software application. The course builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in ACCT150, Small Business Software. Students will develop skills in designing financial systems in a more complex environment, analyzing and recording business transactions, and producing and analyzing financial reports. This course is taught using Sage Accpac ERP 5.6 software and covers General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable modules.
